Has anyone heard about this?
I plan to flip the main breaker and shut the house down. It is amazing how quiet it is when all the appliances, TVs, comuters, etc. are off.

We shut the house down from 6:30 to 9:30 tonight. We flipped off the main breaker. So, our house was not using any power for three hours tonight.
Did anyone participate?
i didnt. only because i didnt know about it. let's do it again this weekend.

I was actually at your house part of the time that our power was off. The only inconvenience is having to reset your clocks.
I wonder if there are other negative repercussions. Can anyone think of any?
Maybe I could shut the house down every Sunday when we head out to the church service.
